(undated - after 9 June 1871)
On June 13th was received the following "Summary of the Inspector's Report on the School and remarks (if any) to be made."
"The children are being carefully taught but are at present backward and inaccurate.
About 38.5 per cent (i.e. 5 children out of 13) passed in writing and spelling, and only 30.8 per cent (i.e. 4 out of 13) in Arithmetic. On the whole 51.3 per cent failed in the examination, a result partly owing to epidemic sickness."
A more favourable result will be looked for next year as the condition of an unreduced grant (Article 32(b) N.C.)
